There are many opportunities for future research, where the different factors at specific ages could be taken into account. This is important because it can help to focus on what stages are the most significant, in the development of adaptive behavior in autistics. The implications of these finding are: that they can help to provide both researchers and educators with knowledge; about how social, genetic and psychological factors will play a role in determining someone's adaptive behavior. With little amounts of research on this aspect of Autism, this could help to provide some kind of insights as to how these different areas play in the development of adaptive behavior.

Clearly there is role between social, genetic and psychological factors in relation to adaptive behavior. This is important because for so long research has been limited on this subject. However, by sampling the 77 males of different age groups, this article highlights how there is direct correlation between the development of these factors and the development of the adaptive behavior in autistics. This will help to provide greatest insights as to the various factors that contribute to Autism. At which point, researchers and educators can begin working with those who are facing such challenges. Over the course of time, this could help provide the breakthroughs necessary for understanding how to most effectively reach out to those who are suffering from the condition. It is through examining the ideas presented in the article in this light; that provides the greatest insights about ASD.
